Biography

Poonam Devi, a native of Haryana (India), holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master of Science in Physics from Miranda House, University of Delhi. After successfully qualifying one of India's most competitive examinations, GATE (2021), she proceeded to pursue M.Tech. in Material Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur,India. Recognized for her outstanding academic performance, she was awarded the prestigious DAAD KOSPIE scholarship for the academic year 2022-2023. This esteemed scholarship provided her with the opportunity to conduct her master's thesis project at RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Her master's thesis focused on the fabrication of MOS2-based memristors and the study of conduction mechanisms for resistive switching in, thus fabricated, devices.
She is currently working as a Ph.D. candidate at TU Delft since November 2023. Her research at TU Delft revolves around the design, implementation, and fabrication of wide-bandgap image sensors, contributing to advancements in sensor technology with potential applications across various fields.
